Monster Planet is an ever-expanding collective of producers, musicians, sound designers, visual artists, and B-movie enthusiasts. Every month different performers improvise a soundtrack to some of the most bizarre and cheesy B-movies they can find, creating a surreal mix of continuously evolving ambient/experimental/drone music and obscure, low budget cinema.
Come down and enjoy a nice cocktail or two while having your brain fried with sonic bliss and movies so shockingly bad that they have to exist in order to keep balance in the universe.

This month we has the distinct honor of welcoming our first out of state guests to Monster Planet! Andrew Weathers and Radere are both amazing artists that MP’s Brian Oblivion met at this year’s Communikey festival. After telling them about Monster Planet, they realized they happen to be passing through Seattle on tour the same night as our little jam session. It turns out that their show gets done rather early, so afterwards, they will be heading over to the Can Can for some improvised fun. You can check out info about their early show here: www.facebook.com/events/329733347155663/. We highly encourage people to go to both shows!
